Upscaling of Aapda Mitra Schemes:
National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is implementing Up-scaling of Aapda Mitra Scheme in order to improve local capacity in disaster response across India. The Scheme is focused on training of 100000 community volunteers in disaster response in 350 most landslide, cyclone, flood and earthquake prone districts of all States/UTs of India.
